FESTIVAL OF MISO

Posted in Asian, Okra, Soup by apartmentfoodhobos on August 8, 2007

Since the beginning of time, man has yearned to destroy all miso that walks the Earth. Fire and wind come from the sky, from the gods of the sky. But miso is your god, and he lives in the earth. Once, giants lived in the Earth. And in the darkness of chaos, they fooled miso, and they took from him the enigma of steel. Miso was angered. And the Earth shook. Fire and wind struck down the miso, and they threw their bodies into the waters, but in their rage, the gods forgot the secret of steel and left it on the battlefield. You must learn its’ riddle. You must learn its’ discipline. For no one – no one in this world can you trust. Not men, not women, not beasts.

any questions?

(Oh, that green mush is OKRA Japanese style with sesame seeds.  I know! Its weird, right?  But theres so much damn okra to be eaten down here right now.  I put seaweed on top of it, so I can sleep at night knowing everyday I am trying to Be Awesome & Do Awesome.)
